A COLA Filing is a single Certificate of Label Approval application filed with the TTB. PourLabel indexes 2,277,983 filings — one row per filed COLA.

Winery Database

11,800 wineries are currently searchable — one row per published, active winery business entity. Winery Database refreshes monthly.

Distributor Market Service: two counts, on purpose

We publish two different distributor counts because they answer different questions, and showing only one is misleading either way.

Distributor Offices (1,741) — an operating location of a distributor company. A single company can have several offices, one per territory or state. Use this figure to size how many operating locations serve a market.
Unique Lead Distributors (1,499) — the one office that represents a distributor company as a whole, its headquarters or primary office. Use this figure to count distinct companies, not operating locations.

A customer sizing a territory who is shown the wrong one is misled by a real overstatement — the office count runs meaningfully higher than the company count. Neither figure retires the other; they measure different things.
